Vibration Therapy:
wake up the stabilizing muscles
Vibration therapy has you standing on a softly humming platform, gripping its rails, as a technician coaches your posture. The vibration recruits the little stabilizers of the spine and joints, a retraining process called neuromuscular re-education.
This one runs only on a physician’s written order, at the intensity that order specifies.
What is vibration therapy?
You stand on a softly humming platform, gripping the rails, as your technician coaches posture and balance throughout.
What it does for you
After injury or long-standing pain, the little stabilizers around the spine and joints tend to fall silent while bigger muscles tighten to compensate. Vibration prompts the small ones to fire again. That retraining is neuromuscular re-education.
Its role around regenerative treatment
Cells read force and answer it with repair orders. A measured dose of vibration is one way to send that mechanical signal, both while tissue is being prepared for an orthobiologic procedure and later, as normal load returns.
The sensation, moment to moment
A fast, fine hum rising through the soles into the legs. Knees stay softly unlocked. Step off whenever you choose.
Timed and attended: your technician never leaves, and writes down the minute you begin and the minute you finish.
When this treatment is off the table
- Pregnancy
- A pacemaker, or anything else implanted
- A known leg clot, a fresh fracture, or surgery not long ago
- Past seizures
- Eye surgery lately, or a retina condition
- Kidney stones or gallstones
- Any dizziness or unsteadiness on the day
Your technician reads the safety questions aloud at every visit, and any change in your answers goes to the physician before a treatment starts. You may call a stop whenever you like.
Time involved
Budget about 10 minutes, split into brief bouts with pauses between. The order sets the clock, not the machine.
What to remember
- Unlocked knees, both hands on the rails.
- The goal is waking up the little stabilizers.
- Any dizziness: step off and tell the technician.
Show us you have it: Before you go, take your platform stance for us while the machine is still off. If a point is fuzzy, say so and we walk through it again with you.
